by Bob High on 14th-August-2014

Thieves hit the Columbus Charter School northwest of Whiteville, and Acme-Delco Middle School this week. The Charter School had more than $1,700 worth of tools stolen, and a $9,500 Cub Cadet mower was stolen at the Acme-Delco school. See today’s Break-in list in The News Reporter.

Jasper Floyd IV, 20, and Jemel Antwan Thompson, 22, the young felons arrested Tuesday and Wednesday for a series of crimes in and near Whiteville, were charged yesterday (Wednesday) with five additional break-ins and thefts — all during the Aug. 9-11 period — by local police. A complete list of charges and the victims is in today’s issue of The News Reporter.
