state tennis finals
South Columbus High School junior Lucas Ford will be part of the 16-player singles bracket in the state 2A tennis tournament, set for Friday and Saturday at Cary. Ford placed second in the last weekend’s East Regional Tournament at Greenville to earn a berth in the state tournament. Ford has won three consecutive Waccamaw Conference singles championships and has paced Coach Nathan Faulk’s Stallions to three straight conference team titles.
