WAUKESHA, Wis. — Donna Faye Tyler, 53, formerly of Whiteville, went to be with the Lord Thursday May 8, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis Tyler. She was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church in Chadbourn.
Final rites will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 12 at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Willard McPherson officiating. Interment will be in Hudson Cemetery, Whiteville. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Monday (two hours prior to the service) at the funeral home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her companion, Thomas J. Rudig of Waukesha, Wis.; two daughters, Brittany M. Ward and husband, Charlton, of Chadbourn and Heather Hensley of Whiteville; step-children, Douglas Rudig (Jessica) and Stewart Rudig (Chelsea), all of Wisconsin and Monica Hocking (John) of Florida; her mother and step-father, Annie Lanier and Marvin Hagen of Whiteville; six sisters, Pat T. James (Richard) of Wisconsin, JoAnn T. Rabon, Frances Boswell (Phil), Jean Hudson and Bonnie Caines, all of Whiteville, Carolyn Blackwell (Monroe) of Lake Waccamaw; one brother, James Tyler (Sherry) of Wisconsin; step-sister, Deborah Korich of Wisconsin; six step-brothers, Michael Hagen, Danny Hagen, Marvin Hagen, Wayne Hagen, Ronnie Hagen, Jeffrey Hagen, all of Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Xavier Long, Lucas Long, Zeppelin Hufton, Brey Rudig and Matthew Rudig; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Chance.
