CERRO GORDO — Anthony Lane Ennis, 42, died Saturday July 5, 2014.
Mr. Ennis was born Sept. 17, 1971 in Danville, Ky. and was a meat cutter. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Lane Ennis.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday July 7 at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff. Final rites will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at the funeral home with Rev. Perry Cribb officiating. Burial will be in Edwards Cemetery.
Surviving are one daughter, Jessica Hope Ennis of Conway, S.C.; one son, Wayne Register of Raleigh; his wife, Melissa Ennis of Conway, S.C.; his mother and stepfather, Loretta and Robert Edwards of Cerro Gordo; two sisters, Rachel Ennis Benton and her husband, Mark, of Cerro Gordo, Robin Edwards Thompson and her husband, Jeremy, of Evergreen; one nephew, Timothy Benton of Cerro Gordo; one niece, Emily Benton of Cerro Gordo; and his grandson, Hunter Register. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
