TABOR CITY — Mrs. Alice Wynn Kelly Fonvielle, 69, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at her home. Born in Anderson, S.C., she was the daughter of the late F.O. Kelly and Mary Alice and Wister Jackson.
Mrs. Fonvielle was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was a retired school teacher of 26 years.
Final rites were held Sunday, May 4, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Burial was in Myrtle Green Cemetery. Inman Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton Monroe “Buddy” Fonvielle of the home; one daughter, Kelly Wynn F. Miller and husband, Warren, of Tabor City; one son, Carlton Hunter and wife, Monica, of Tabor City; one brother, Wister O. Jackson of Lansing; one sister, Mary Louise Taylor of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Mason Miller, Gracelyn Fonvielle, Caleb Fonvielle, Zack Fonvielle.
